Initial Consultation
The process begins with a detailed consultation where we discuss your vision for your wedding ring. Whether you’re looking for a classic band, a modern design, or something truly one-of-a-kind, we’ll explore your preferences for design, metals, finishes, and any special details you’d like to incorporate. This is also the stage to discuss practicalities, such as your budget and wedding timeline. Our goal is to align your dream ring with what is achievable, ensuring the final design is not only beautiful but perfectly suited to your needs.
Material Sourcing & Incorporating Old Jewellery
We take great care in selecting the materials for your wedding ring, sourcing them through our ethically trusted suppliers to ensure both quality and integrity. If you wish to incorporate existing jewellery, we’ll thoughtfully evaluate its condition and suitability for the design. While some metals may have limitations—such as brittleness that makes them unsuitable for reworking—and gemstones might require resetting or polishing, we’ll guide you through every step of the process. Re-using materials can be a meaningful and cost-effective choice, and we’ll ensure it’s done in a way that honours both the sentiment and your vision for the finished piece.

3D Modelling & Design
Once the design concept is agreed upon, we create a detailed 3D model of your ring. This stage allows you to see the design in a virtual format, making it easier to adjust proportions, settings, or decorative elements. We also take into account any structural constraints, such as ensuring the setting is secure for specific stones or that the band is durable for everyday wear.
EXPERT CONSTRUCTION
With the design finalized, our expert jewellers bring your ring to life. The type of metal you choose—gold, platinum, or another alloy—will influence the techniques we use, as each has unique properties. For instance, platinum is more durable but requires specialized tools, while gold is more malleable but prone to scratches. If using old jewellery, we carefully melt down and refine the metal or reset gemstones, ensuring the new piece meets modern standards.

Final Approval & Delivery
After crafting, the ring is polished, inspected, and presented for your approval. This is your opportunity to see the final piece in its entirety. If any last-minute adjustments are needed, we ensure they’re completed to your satisfaction. Once approved, your bespoke ring is beautifully packaged and ready for collection from our store in Tavistock, Devon or delivery.
